Header tank problem

Overheating causing water expansion or sludge which restrict the flow pressuring back to tank or pump back to front or boiler stat too high etc.Try and turn down the boiler stat for the time being,the plumbling guru will need more info tonight regarding boiler & type of system you have.

Set the pump to the highest setting, bleed the rads, turn the boiler down to minimum see if the thermostat knocks the system off when up to temperature.

It is not essential as a gravity fed system simply fills up.
