Heat resistant paint for tiles

Is there such a thing. i have a soild fuel fire (coal/wood burning) the suround for this is glossy ceramic tiles. i will come time replace the whole thing so in the mean time i want to paint over the tiles so it looks a bit more modern and presentable. the problem is i can find tile paint and i can find heat resistant paint but i can find a heat resistant tile paint. has anybody got any suggestions or experience with this
