Hi,
I would like to install a heated mirror pad in a bathroom cabinet door I am building (located in zone 3/unzoned). My electrician has wired up the cabling to a back box behind where the cabinet will go and blanked it off temporarily. The conundrum I have is how to get the cable across to the door without risk of snagging it when the door is opened or closed.
A door loop seems to be the way others do it:

Since the loop is metal I assume it needs to be earthed. Is that correct?
The house is wired to 18th edition with rcbos on the lighting circuits, from which the mirror wiring has been derived.
Thanks
