There may be a catelogue error here:
http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?cId=101234&ts=98933&id=21836
but I might take the plunge anyway. (The lower wattage one is more expensive?!) Still, will a 425 watt device run ok from an FCU ran all the way from the kitchen? The bathroom is only 2.5 meters square - is that amount of power OTT?
I'd like to run it on a timer (to heat the towels, gas CH in the winter) such as
http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?cId=A231864&ts=99808&id=13481
but how would I do that if the cable running to the towel rail is from a closed wall plate - forget term - the one without the buttons! Would I then have to site the "plug" elsewhere? Maybe site an inconspicuous box somewhere? Any other ways of doing it? Is there a timer without a plug that's safe for bathroom appliances?
Not interested in dual fuel as I don't want to replace the rad.
Cheers.
