HEATING ELEMENTS WON\\\'T COME ON

My 2 year old son was switching the \\\"AIR DRY/HEAT DRY\\\" switch back and forth about a million times on my WHIRLPOOL, and now the heating element won\\\'t turn on. I am a Toyota service technician, so I have and know how to use a mulitmeter. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks

Start the dryer and set it on both the regular dry cycle and the delicates cycle. See if there's any heat on EITHER cycle.

If not, it COULD be the heating element, but let's check to see if there's any heat on either cycle first. If either one has heat, it's not the heating element.
