Heating oil smell

A friend had an oil leak in her Arga which has left a smell from the oil that got onto the concrete plinth. Is there anything that can be done to remove the oil/smell?

You can get some stuff which is supposed to reduce it, but it smells of something else. Time will do quite well, and plenty of air flow..
