Hi
This is a second post today regarding a survey on the house l am buying. The surveyors advice is that the heating oil tank is probably the same age as the house so 50 years old and may need replacing.
The tank is in its own brick built outhouse and easily accessed from the driveway. The boiler is not next to it so not obstructing.
Anyone able to give me a rough estimate of cost to remove, dispose of and replace the tank?
Are there any building regs or environmental issues that are likely to add to the cost considerably?
Thanks very much for your input.
Steve
