heating won't turn off

need help please

have a potterton suprima boiler
thermostat turned right down , timer off but rads still get hot
only by turning boiler off can i stop it from heating up

Replace 2 port heating valve head or 3 port head if Y plan

is that easy to do or do i need an expert

If you are comfortable with basic electrics and isolate heating mains before you start then it is usually easy. No plumbing involved with replacing just the head. Make sure you make a note of where the wires are connected to before removing or if poss just change one at a time
