Hi all.
Newbie here, question is, if I leave the central heating on during the winter and go away for a period of time can I leave the heating on and turn the mains water stop cock off or do I have to leave the mains supply on.

If it is a combi boiler or a sealed system yes you can shut off the cold mains.

If it is an open system, depand on if you have system leaking.

Thanks for the reply Hertsboiler, have been in touch with the installer and no I dont need the mains to be left on, thanks again.

Just turn the mains off while you are away.
