Hi Folks,
I've searched high and low for the answer to this problem and so far I've found nothing. So its either that stupid a question that nobody has thought it would be asked or I'm asking something new (I'll go for the first).
I've recently purchased a fixed chrome shower arm and head from the net, which has arrived but is very heavy shower head end (obvious I know). The unit comes out of the wall and is fed from a burried pipe. What I'm worried about is the amount of strain this is putting on the pipe and elbow at the other end. Surely the brass elbow joint isn't sufficient to hold such a large amount of weight. Even if it is, will the threaded pipe be able to support such weight?
I can supply a picture if it helps, unless of course the answer is so obvious that its answered easily enough.
Many thanks
