Height of Wash Basin?

I'm installing a toilet and small wash basin in a small spare toilet. Is there a standard height to attach the basin to the wall? And do I go by the top or the bottom of the basin?

To the top normally, measure your kitchen worktop height. They're normally roughly the same.

Top of kitchen sink is 900 which seems too high for wash basin especially for kids.
All ours are 800 to the top

Not really, what height is the one in your other toilet? Just make them both the same.

Good idea - the bathroom is 830mm.

well if everyone is happy enough with the existing one just go with the same , will save the fairer sex finding something else to moan about
