I have a Sime Super 90 which is giving neither hot water on demand nor central heating. My fault finding guide suggests the pump is not working and there is no movement detected.Either the pump needs replacing or the power supply to the pump is faulty. The boiler is over 10 years old and a new pump would not be wasted.I would like to order/get the part in advance to speed up the repair time.I have a couple of reliable CORGI friends in the trade.I have been unable to make contact.

Does anyone agree/disagree with my analysis?

Thanks in anticipation

If you are competent then power the pump independently from the mains and see if it runs.

OR

Measure the voltage at the input to the pump when it should be running.

have you checked the shaft is free to turn? See FAQ

Thanks for tip Tony.I will leave it to Corgi friend as it is a let property and I do not wish to put others and myself at risk.I have found that Grundfos 60/15 pump will do the job and they are reasonably priced
