We have wooden patio doors and the deadlock has broken. I am looking to try find a replacement but cant find it. Anyone with experience / recognising the deadlock know where I can find?
It's a Fullex SL16, think you might have to buy the complete mechanism though as I haven't seen any split for parts, not cheap either. If you do end up ordering a complete just make sure you get your backset and your PZ measurements, from your picture it looks like a 22mm faceplate width as well but just check, most nowadays are only 16mm
Thank you...I have taken various measurements and was advised the same somewhere else but they could not find the width for the faceplate so thats probably why. Attached pictures of measurements....does this confirm your thoughts on model. Expensive isnt ideal as my wife is pushing for a new set of doors eek
I think 25mm were pre 2001 but some old stock may of crept into more recent installations, yours looks like 68pz, defo 25mm faceplate, can't make out your backset though, the common one is 35mm but do check, the link above has a selection of backsets, still not cheap though probably a supply and demand thing, fullex aren't known for top quality mechanisms, tell the Mrs it's either 100 quid for a mech or 1200 for a new set of doors
Yeah defo not top quality, I have already position the economic impacts haha.
I think the size of the back plate is 45mm.
Cheers for your help, really appreciated.
