We removed 1 radiator for decorating, and the boiler was fine, but on removing a 2nd radiator the boiler pressure keeps going up to 3.5 bars until we drain water out of the system. (SIME combi). Inlet water is off. Any advice appreciated.

Do not think so, but have checked it's tight shut and are keeping an eye on the pressure.

Have you disconnected silver braided pipe as you are supposed to after filling if so fault will be within boiler (probably plate heat exchanger or calorifier depending on boiler)

No it's not been disconnected since the boiler was put in about 9 years ago.

Since we last drained more water out the pressure has stayed at a normal level, so hopefully it will be okay until we get the radiators back on again.

Thanks Tomy & Weareleeds for your replies. ;)
