help identify part

Hi

can anyone tell me what this is called?

I have stripped our bath filler after it lost resistance on the handle to select taps or shower.

the leg part has snapped off, I can't find a replacement that looks the same?

It looks like a diverter but without knowing the manufacturer it could be tricky to track down a replacement.

It might be a Bristan (shown below)

If it is a Bristan, they are pretty good with spare parts at quite modest prices.
