Anyone have experience of laminate sheets or particle board worktops; specifically suppliers and trying to find matches etc?

My dilemma; want to build own fitted office furniture. B&Q sell kitchen doors only and found superb - and very cheap (£11 each) - Contemporary Walnut range whereby draw-line doors will give exact height needed for an office. Will make own carcases to suit.

Issue is the worktop. Can't at present find a kitchen one that even closely matches the laminate of the doors!

Anyone know who manufactures some of the range for B&Q?

Is it ever possible to get matching laminate sheets to then construct own MDF worktop?

Failing this, anyone know of a cheap kitchen range whereby there is a matching worktop - one that could pass as office rather than a kitchen? Or any supplier of stuff for doing own projects?

Cheers for any help,
Neil

Take a door to a laminate supplier look for a match in there swatches & buy a sheet (they used to be 8 x 4).
You can then fix this to ply with Evostick or similar.

Hi JR I'm looking for something similar, I can't seem to get through to Eliza James though their number keeps divertingh to voicemail.

Can you tell me where they located they don't seem have their address listed on their website?

Thanks

Here's an idea. Could you not use one of their plain doors in the same colour and cut it to suit?
Replacement kitchen door suppliers do doors up to 2400mm and they're 18mm thick. Much better than 30 or 40mm for an office.

Wilsonart produce all the worktops for B&Q in Shildon, North East. They do make them extremely difficult to buy though as they rebadge them all with unique codes for obvious reasons.
