HELP MY RADIATORS ARE TOO HOT

my radiator constantly is heating and never turns off, the house is extremely hot. I just installed a thermostatic radiator valve(there suppose to control the temp.) sad enough that didn't work. its still giving off a lot of heat....any suggestions

thermostatic valves are on or off
they reach the temperature set and turn off [ mines are frost=8 1=12 2=16 3=20 4=24 5=28 6=32 or 47/54/62/70/77/84/91 ish
you adjust the water temperature at the boiler

are they direction specific with an arrow on the body off the valve??

Seeing as you are in America it will be probably be difficult to advise you to nip down to Plumbcentre, AH thank you... Thought you lot had air con ??
