I know there are a lot of threads about this topic which i have read but i am still unsure. If anyone can help it would be well appreciated.
I have a new AEG oven B3101-4 and AEG hob 6410kf, the hob is rated at 6.4kw and the oven is 3kw.
What i would like to know is if both require hard wiring or if the oven can be wired and 'plugged in' to socket on the radial circuit.
From what i have read the hob will need hard wiring, i have a supply from the consumer unit to a control unit (currently 45 amp) which then feeds into a terminal outlet box. Can you tell me if the fuse rating is too high (6mm cable used).
Also if the oven needs hard wiring can this be connected to the same terminal outlet.
