Help needed quite urgently - ch works but no hot water???

Hi everyone

I have quite an old Baxi boiler - at least I would have thought 10 yrs old. I have with this an Honeywell timer.

When the CH is switched on - the boiler fires up no problem.
When the Hot Water is switched on - the boiler doesnt fire up & no hot water

Could this be an electrical problem with the Honeywell timer or do you think there is a problem with the boiler - if so what do you think the prob may be and how much do you think it would cost to sort it?

Any help would be much appreciated as Im really struggling to know what to do.

i probably cant help but specify if you have a single mid postion valve or two 'zone' valves (known as Y or S plan) you can ID this by looking for some metal\plastic boxes after the pump with electrical flex coming of them.

Based on so little information it could be anything!

Unless you are able to give considerable further information on your system then I think that you may need to call a heating engineer to sort it out for you.

Does anyone know what frequency the MRI scanners are pulsed at?
