Help Needed Wiring Light Switch

Hello,

I have a Hamilton Hartland CFX dimmer light switch. There are three terminals on the back labelled S, L and L1.

My limited experience of light switches is that they usually have Com, L1 and L2. The instructions that came with the light switch has it this way but it does not match what is on the back of the switch.

Can anyone advise on how this should be wired please?
