Help needed with a Potterton Puma 80

Central heating works ok. DHW works with the hot tap only open, however, the boiler shuts down as soon as any cold tap is opened.
The water flow rate drops as the boiler shuts down. The boiler will not light when the cold tap is turned off, I have to wait about 5 mins before the boiler will fire up again.
Suggestions will be appreciated.

Check boiler flow switch, and pressure available from mains, biut there's some ambiguity here.

Hello Chris, the flow switch, is that the one with the microswitch on the end?
If it is I disconnected the wires and shorted them out, but the boiler would not light.
what is the ambiguity?
