Help - PIR wire snapped by carpet fitter!

Hi guys,

I have a hardwired V2 GSM 9651 (Pyronix). Unfortunately my carpet fitter drilled through the PIR wire for my garage sensor. This resulted in a Tamper07 fault (zone 7) and I'm unable to set my alarm. Is it possible to bypass this pir zone so I can still set my alarm with the other zones if that makes sense.

I don't mind not having use of the PIR in the garage (zone 7).

Any replies or help to sort will be really appreciated.

If the damage cable is accessible then you can repair the cable at damaged point ,if not then you could disconnect the damaged in the control panel.
This would require you to identify zone 7 cable and disconnect from the pcb.
Take photo of pcb wiring and post picture.
Remove zone 7 alarm pair and link zone out with wire link.
If tempers are connected then you need to remove the zone 7 tamper pair from the gobal tamper circuit
Remove aux power from cable.
Would be easier to explain with photo to ensure you are removing correct wires.

Damaged cable is still accessible but wouldn't have a clue how to fix etc

I took a photo this morning of the PCB cables, there is a yellow and blue cable. The yellow one is wired into CCT7 and the blue one is wired underneath along with a green wire from a different PIR I believe, I'm just out at work at the moment so can't take any further photos.

You need the resistor out of the pir to link out in control panel.
May be easier to repair cable

Call out the alarm company and bill the carpet fitter direct.
