Hello, I have a question if anyone could possibly help me with?
I am doing gas training, and have some coursework to do. Part of it is to name the causes of spillage and staining from room-sealed/open fluedand flueless appliances. I know there are many reasons for spillage but want to name as many as I can.
I have named the following, but would be thankful if anyone could add any fiurther that I have missed out, or correct any I have wrongly added;
I have so far:
1) blocked flue / flue terminal
2) undersized flue
3) incorrect ventilation / blocked entilation (open flued / compartment ventilation)
4) bad weather conditions (open flue)
5) incorrect siting of flue terminal (open flue)
6) flue seals worn / incorrectly connected flue joints
7) boiler case seals faulty (positive pressure room sealed boilers)
any help would be great.
