Help Please - Hotpoint Washer Dryer - Error Code e-30???

I have a Hotpoint washer dryer that when you start any programme it start fine and fills with water but then all of a sudden it beeps like crazy and the ejects the water out. And on the screen it shows E-30 or in fact now I think about it might be E-20??? so if anyone knows what either of these mean please let me know.

e30 is no spin/ motor problem

you just need to check the motor carbons. 2 min job.

can get you motor carbons for £5 inc P+P
will put photos on net if u need help removing them..

Thank you for that but I have checked the brushs and they are perfect so I gave up this morning and phoned an engineer. Who said that I am going to know to get a new motor which retails at £200+ but they can get me one for £179 so I have decided to buy a new/secondhand one.
