Help please Vaillant Mag Sine 250

Hi,
I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas, we have a Vaillant gas water heater in the kitchen from when we moved in, for about the past month now the hot tap is just running warm but all of the flames seem to be lit in the heater, when I turn down the flow of water on the tap to try to get the water hotter the flames go out the water temp knob is at the maximum setting . Is it time to replace.

I think yours is very old now.

I did get a spare part for one a few years ago but you may have difficulty finding anyone to work on it except perhaps the Vaillant staff engineers.
