help please with layout

i am tiling the kitchen and as you can see am going round the sink area. im not sure what the orientation of th tiles should be on the areas marked, if anyone can help id appreciate it

Green - horizontal continuing what to the left. (grout lines matching)

Red - personally I'd go for horizontal again with a mitred corner continuing across in front of the window.

Wouldn't a better option be to window board the sill reveal?

thanks for the reply, i follow what you mean about the green thats how i intend to do those. with the red do you mean the long edge of the tile should be towards the window? do you mean mitre across in the corner (blue ) and then presumably turn the tiles to follow the ones running across the window?

I would have started with a whole tile on the face along the red line, then a half cut for the slither, then moved onto the cill with a whole at the front running length ways along your red line, then a half, then a whole slither up on your green wall, but yes with a mitre along your blue line.
Though personally I would have started with a whole tile immediately under the cill and the cuts as the bottom layer.
I too would seriously consider a window board too.
