Help removing TRV cap !

Hi, Can anyone advise me on how to remove the following TRV cap because i think the pin is stuck because the radiator is cold. Here are the pics:

Just use water pump pliers or footies on the gland directly below the black plastic bit mate. anti-clockwise to remove...............

Given the amount of paint on that valve, it may be time for a new TRV??

Cheers for the help !! I have taken it off now and the pin appears to be stuck, it doesn't seem to move at all. Any ideas on how to get it moving again?

Give it some gentle taps on and around the valve body with a small hammer.
