I really need some help and advice. In addition to my last posting, I am also considering using studded membraines to resolve my cellar damp problem (the cellar is partially underground and is only damp - it does not suffer from water dripping down the walls, etc). This is the stuff that creates a gap between the original damp wall and vituly creates a new wall with this membrane.
However, I have a few questions I was hoping someone could answer:
Does anyone have any first hand experience of using this stuff? is it effective?
Do you always need to put in a slump pump? as my walls are only damp, and do not have water falling down them would I need one?
If I use this stuff, the real damp walls will still remain damp, so how will my problem be solved? won't the damp smell still be there?
does anyone know of a cheap supplier of this stuff.
I would really appreciate any advice on this. Thanks in advance
