On a semi detached/end terrace corner plot. Can a planning request be made of more than 3m deep- rear (ie 4.5m) with a side extension of 3.5m on a wraparound build. If unsuccessful, how is the likelihood of success on these types of appeals with a council such as Barnet Borough (London)? Anyone had experience of this? Does 2m gap to boundary also have to be kept strictly to 2m or can it be a little less with no objection as Nextdoor property is set back quite a lot. HELP!!! I want to do what’s best for my needs and & property. Thanks.

You can make a planning application for anything but it needs to be in line with your Councils planning policies to stand a chance of approval.
