Help!!!! Unwanted bytes transfering onto mobile phone.

My Daughter has a Motorola L6 & 2 days ago she discovered that there were unwanted bytes being transfered onto her phone at the cost 3p a time. This happens every few minutes once the phone has been switched on.
She has been advised to re boot the phone & has been onto Motorola but to no avail. Any advice or suggestions folks ?

Had a similar thing on my company phone with o2. It was an APPS that i had downloaded for the weather and it was doing updates during the night. When I removed the programme the charges stopped.
