HELP!!! very cold house! Thorn EMi C/H Boiler

Dear WOnderful Diy Forum

I've spent the past week hunting down what's wrong with our central heating boiler. The procedure for switching it on is to hold down a button while pressing a spark ignitor (another manual button much like one found on a lighter). I know very little about central heating and need your help very much to analyze what has gone wrong with it.

I do not know if it is the Pilot Light, but I have a suspicion it could be.

I have attached Pictures of the system, and would very much appreciate your help.

press orange or black button till you see flame in veiwing window

hold grey button 20 secs and release slowly
