Help - What material is this?

New on here and hoping somebody can help!

Went to view a house to buy yesterday and they had a rear extension already built. I looked down the side and couldn't recognise material used, the block pattern is irregular and it felt almost like cardboard!?

Any help is much appreciated.

Ten plus years as a chartered surveyor and I don't know! I'm guessing it might be some kind of pre finished stucco panel but it does, as you say, have a cardboard like look.

If you do proceed, definitely get a survey - I'd love to know!

Took a builder to have a look and they think it is a type of cladding over the block work. Thanks.
