HELP!!! Whirlpool programme 2000 dwasher stops mid cycle

Hi can anyone help me before I part with hard earned cash to whirlpool for an engineer. My dishwasher seems to stop mid cycle on a 70 degree programme. If i turn it off at the wall to reset then run program I get 1 error code beep???? Have lost booklet and requested a new one from wpool. Also does anyone know where I can find a service manual for this appliance? Thanks for any help. Pete

Is the start light/button flashing? If it is, count the flashes between pauses and post the result here.
You won't get a service manual for it, Whirlpool don't release this information to the general public.
Finally, that's not your serial number, that's the product number (actual model and not generic model), serial number is the other 12 digit number on your machine.

I also have a problem with my Whirlpool dishwasher, it will start to fill then stop and will not fire up after that, also when you hold the start button down the alarm bleeps and i have two flashes per pause on the LED, can you help????
Once start button is pressed again drain pump fires and empties.
