Hi
Will the following set up be leak proof.
From the close coupled toilet I'll be using a FloPlast SP103 90° Connector (with fins).

The fins/end of 90° pan connector go into 110mm bore of soil pipe.
>>> This soil pipe has a socket on the other end. <<<

I was hoping to connect the socket of the soil pipe to/over the existing soil pipe.
MY QUESTION
Is it OK to have the "socket end" of the soil pipe back to front?
What I mean by that, is that all the images I've seen, the socket should be positioned so as to be 'excepting the flow'
The way I need to do it is to have the socket 'go over' the existing soil pipe.
I know you can get a "110mm double ended straight socket connector"
which sort of answers my own question.
But this the first time I've used soil pipe and I want to get it right first time.
I have only got to make up a gap of 8 inches.
If you don't think my layout will work - will this work instead;
Use the FloPlast SP103 90° Connector as before - but insert the fins into
the open end of a FloPlast Extension Piece SP104 (soil pipe one end / fins the other end) and push the fins into the existing soil pipe.

This will mean that the both ends of this join will be in "FINS" - is that OK?
I'm hoping you'll say that my first idea was OK because I'd like to get the toilet in tomorrow and I'll have to drive 30 miles to get a FloPlast Extension Piece if not.
Thanks in advance - Stephen
