Help with basin waste

hi guys,

So I’m so frustrated with what seems should be such a simple issue....
I have a basin that I’m trying to connect waste to....

The pop up waste is 32mm and I have connected a bottle trap...the connection is a thread on the bottom of the bottle trap and I’m trying to connect it to a 32mm pipe sounds simple!? Why the hell cant I find something that screws around the thread at the bottom of the trap!? All of the connections seem to want to connect pipes to pipes and not screw threads?

Im clearly missing something!

Post a picture. Bottle traps normally have a side exit. If you're trying to connect to a screw thread, then it implies that somethings missing.

From a bottle trap with a compression/pushfit outlet to a bare vertical 32mm pipe you would use a 32mm conversion elbow.

A picture would help in any case
