Help with charging my motorcycle battery

Can someone help me with this question please.

I have no electricity in my garage which is away from my house and there's no chance of running an extension.

I have a Ring battery pack (picture attached)
Oxford bike optimiser
Suzuki GSXR 1000 bike

Is hooking the battery pack with the optimiser and my bike safe to leave on in the garage. The battery pack has a 240v inverter.

How long will the battery pack last.

If I understand you are using a battery connected to an inverter to power a trickle charger to keep your gixer battery topped up?

It should be fine though I doubt it will be effective if the bike has an alarm
The optimizer is pushing about 1 amp, I doubt the above set up will give you more than about 8-10 hours of charge.

Is the bike in regular use?

If it is, then talk to Oxford about the battery pack & optimiser.

If it isn't, simply remove the battery & store in a warm place till the weather turns.

Buy two batteries and use one/charge one

I hardly ever charge my battery
I have a triumph bonny from the seventies and use a mottobAtt glass fibre mat battery
 
If it's just because it's stood up over winter I'd take the battery off ##if no alarm fitted## and use the fly lead to charge the battery up once a fortnight.

Other option is to extend the Optimiser lead so it can be plugged in in the house and the output lead fed into the garage, I've done this for my car with an Optimate.

All the 240v side stays in the house, 14v lead runs outside to the vehicle.

If you have an alarm fitted to the bike it's important to keep the main battery maintained at least to 12v, they rely on an internal backup battery and if that goes dead flat all the fob codes are lost and the alarm is basically scrap.
 
No alarm on the bike thank goodness. More hassle than they're worth.

Just wanted to top up /optimise the battery before I venture out on a dry day.

Too far from house to garage to run any cables.

The optimiser has a cigarette lighter plug and as the battery pack has a socket I'm thinking of using that to trickle charge the battery. This means that the battery should last longer as it is not using the inverter.

Yes, if you buy one of these "car to car jump start chargers", you could use this to keep you motorcycle battery charged from the 12V output of the battery pack/inverter. If you could mount a 12V solar panel on the garage, this could also be used to trickle charge the battery as well. I have a 12V 20W solar panel on my garage which is sufficient to maintain the charge of an 063 battery to give lighting and occasional power through an inverter in my garage. I use a "car to car jump start" to maintain the charge of a car which gets very little use, quite successfully.

Hah! Actually, put together right, they don't vibrate too much, lamps last an ok time
However if strobing the bike and revving to 5k on the centre stand, it tends to walk backwards about four feet.
