Im looking for some help with my radiator problem, i recently changed 3 rads in my system. After refilling the system one of the original rads a double convector in the lounge doesnt get hot, all the others are fine.
The radiator in questing doesn't have TRV's fitted, i have tried turning all the others off through the lock shields to no avail. On the flow side it has a lock shield with a drain plug, if i open the drain plug when the system is running i get boiling hot water come out after about a minuite but when i close it the pipes go cold again and the radiator doesn't get hot. I have since drained the system down again taken the radiator off and drained it fully and flushed it but it has made no difference.
Now I'm at a dead end and don't know what to try, i can only assume that the lockshield on either end end is stuck or duff effectively not allowing the hot water in or indeed out of the radiator? is that a safe thing to assume given what i have tried?
