Hi there. This what Iives in my electrical cupboard. I have been told it is a 3 phase supply. Is there any way of finding out without opening the box? (I would like to use it to supply a new build granny annexe we have just built if possible.) Any help appreciated.

Its an old cable termination box, filled with hot melt compound. The red, yellow blue markings would suggest it does indeed have or once had a three phase supply to it. Only the neutral and blue phase appear to be in use..

As a matter of interest, where does one find the fuse(s) with a setup like that?

Kind Regards, John

The dno would probably want to replace that, they don't like metal cutouts now. We had a similar 3 phase monster and they replaced it with a new plastic one.
Incidentally that was in preparation for replacing a nice non conductive fuse box with a metal one....

Thanks very much Harry!
