Hi all, I need help.
I have a house built in 1896, it has had a loft conversion at some time but there was no insulation or felt just slates.
So far I have cut 65mm foil insulation boards and placed between all rafters, I have then covered the entire area with a further 65mm. This gives me 130mm which is what I think is recommended.
My plan now is to plasterboard and skim the area. Am I correct or should I do something else. I keep reading about air gap and venting. There is plenty of airflow under the slates.
Will I get condensation?
Please advise
Thank you
John
