Hi, I have a problem... I have just fitted a TRITON Alicate electric shower. It is fitted to the mains water supply BUT the pressure appears too low...What are my options ???? Can I use some form of inline pump (probably not). What about the possibility of re-plumbing it to the loft storage tank and then using a pump?

Any suggestions would be welcomed...

you mean the pressure is too low when the shower is on full blast at its coldest setting or it keeps tripping off on the low pressure cut-out?

If you have an option to re-plumb it to a gravity fed supply, you can then put a booster pump in.

I know this sounds very basic, but I once had someone ask me about low mains pressure and it turned out to be the stopcock in the road not turned on fully.

Is the pressure to the whole house low or just the shower, have you used a ballofix type isolation valve to the shower, these can be a bit restrictive, is the rose blocked, did you flush out the pipework as per installation instructions ? is the shower a cheap low Kw model as if it is you aint gonna get much throught it whatever, has it got the right size cable to it 6mm 10mm
?
