So ive decide to turn my spare room into a cinema room and it has old fitted wardrobes with dark varnish on them I wanted to Get vinyl wraps butbecause there is coved wood on them I cant do I have to completely sand them u til allthe varnish is off and what paint would I use to paint them? Any help I cant get I appreciatte

I would of thought using a water-based undercoat and satin or gloss finish would be ok!
