help with Potterton Lynx 2

Hi

Have a problem with this boiler, found dry joint and soldered all ok but now the radiators get hot when on hot water only, diverter valve or motorised valve faulty. Motorised valve seems ok you can hear it motor and spring loaded, have taken it off the check the valve itself and it only seems to move about an 8 th of an inch. Should this valve move more than this is it furred up inside

any advice appreciated
