Hi,
The hinge on our cooker's bottom door came away (the pin bent and the door became unseated from the top hinge) - though that's not the issue...
I took the door off (it's a free standing cooker with side hinges - not the pull down brackets). http://www.leisurecp.co.uk/freestanding_appliances/60cm_cookers/levc66
With the door half off, I unscrewed the hinges from the body of the cooker. That was my mistake... There were three bolts on each hinge plate and a threaded plate behind the cooker chassis frame - and now both of those plates have 'fallen' into the cavity between the side of the cooker and the oven itself.
There's no obvious way to get to them - and the cooker is well jammed into the gap in the cupboards.
Does anyone have any experience of this cooker or similar and what would be the simplest way to dissemble parts of it to get to the plates and to be able to hold them in place as the hinges are screwed back on?
There are 4 screws that appeared to hold the oven 'shell' inside the cooker itself and I hoped to undo these and pull the oven out to get to the plates from the inside. But there was no movement after undoing these and I wasn't going to risk levering it out if I couldn't be sure it was free.
I'm guessing I have to pull the whole cooker out and work out how to take the sides off.
Thanks for any tips.
Numpty.
