Help with sloping floors

Hi all,
Wonder if somebody could help me with this.

I have a through lounge that has sloping floors.

The dining room is the worst of the rooms.

Problem I have is that the floor slopes into one corner and is 60mm off.

This is will be part of an insurance claim that is going to court and could take upto a year or more to resolve, if it does get resolved.

I only want to straighten up the floor to get some normality in the room again with as least fuss as possible until this is sorted out.

I was thinking of packing the floors but as this is not a simple slope from one wall to the other.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Is the subfloor concrete, timber or block and beam ? And any ideas as to the cause ?

underneath floorboards and joists are basically rubble and crap with clay!

the sloping has been caused by foundation movement which has now stopped, hopefully!

The easiest way using minimal materials is to remove 2/3 floorboards and pack the joists up from below. Replace the floorboards.
You will have to remove any offending skirting to do this but if carfeully done they will go back on.

just remember everything in the room slopes so your picture rail dado rail doors and windows may need adjusting to look right or even fit
60 mm is to much to remove from a door

sometimes with picture rails and dado rails that don't look right you need to move them half the difference so the perspective looks right
although sometimes it will never look right unless you level everything including the windows doors and ceiling which then will look odd outside
