Hi

I have recently moved house, and today I started sorting out the bathroom. It doesn't need any too major, apart from sorting the sealant out around the bath as it is skanky!

I have got all the old sealant off, and there is a rubber edging also (sorry I am sure it has a proper name). I can't get the edging clean, but I also can't get it off as it has been grouted into the tiles at the top and I don't want to damage them. It seems to be made of plastic or pvc - can I paint it before I redo the sealant, or is there anything I can use to get it clean that won't damage it?

Many thanks

Have you tried washing up liquid? I know that sounds daft but you'd be suprised how often that works.

one of the guys posted on another thread, for cleaning such areas think it was GROT BUSTER from domestos have look through the earlier threads.

if not i prefer aquamix products.
