I partially inherited a home from my grandfather and bought out the other members. I still have a mortgage and limited funds. We ripped off old panelling and completely gutted the kitchen except for the sheet rocked walls. Some glue was left behind plus some really poor quality walls. I don't want to rip out the old sheet rock (or plaster?) and don't want to sheet rock over it if I can avoid it. Does anyone have any suggestions about what can be done to hide the imperfections or do I have no other choice but to re shee rock?
