Where should you wire up a heating controller on the boiler. A danfoss RX1 was fitted and has now stopped working. Want to trace back to where the wire from it went on boiler. There are 2 wires that when you put a meter across ping the meter (continuity test). I want to put a Hive to control the heating. Thanks

The heat only boilers have a permanent and a switched live
Combi's have permanent live plus 2 switched live's

You will need to trace wireing from boiler.
The wireing goes into a plug on top left hand of boiler control panel.
It's wired L1 heating L2 hot water L3 permanently live.
You will need the Hive you need is the version that controls hot water as well as heating to meet building regs,
You need to be able to time hot water on and off on a oil combi.
