My Henry vacuums hi/lo circuit board is faulty. Vacuum runs fine with board from other Henry so I know rest of vacuum is fine. There are posts that say circuit board and hi/lo function can be bypassed by disconnecting circuit board and connecting wires in some sequence directly to the on/off switch, but offer incomplete details as to what wires I connect. Should I guess? Help appreciated.

Do you have older version with rocker switch for hi/lo, recently did this for a friend, from memory there are 2 or 3 short linking wires involved, remove these completely and board and maintain the original connection for the live [a photo helps] then the terminal left on power switch is the neutral.
