Hep20 use plastic insert?

Hi,
I have 1 elbow fitting to be replaced. I've got a hep20 push fit elbow but no metal inserts... only plastic (JG super seal)

Are these ok to use, mains pressure shower. I've only ever used steel ones but I'm a bit stuck.

I wouldn't use the Superseal ones as they may prevent the pipe being inserted far enough into the fitting

Best not to mix components, they are designed to work as a “system“

General advice is that although the OD of plastic p;pe is standardised ID is not, hence always use the insert specific to the pipe.
