I've tried to avoid it but it's getting bigger and bigger.

I hope it's all over soon and just one of those things.

From what I have read over the past few days, they are not sure and these types of cases are happening in the UK/USA and Spain I think. A guess by one of the specialists was that it could be that the children's immune systems are weaker as they have not mixed with other kids during lockdowns. They did rule out our vaccines as non of the children under ten that were infected by this in the UK and USA had been vaccinated.

On top of covid, ww3, we now have this.

And the two obvious ones for parents to look out for is yellowing of skin/ whites of the eyes and light coloured stool.

‘exposure to a toxin’ it says in the report.
That’ll be enough for me.

Just read this, really good and easy to read and a news source that is respected by many.

"The leading theory is viral infection, probably with an adenovirus – a common family of viruses that can cause the common cold, among other conditions."

So it's an infectious disease, and there is an outbreak of it.

As we all know, life evolves and mutates all the time.

Very often, children are prone to infection because they have not previously had an infection similar enough to give them immunity.

Nothing new about that.

Most of the cases are in younger children but some are as old as 16. Yes lots of kids didn't mix as much in the first lockdown but they have all been back at school mixing for a year and a half surely.

Seems a bit of a coincidence that in the time many kids have been infected with covid, some multiple times. Some kind of side effects of covid or some effect of covid on the immune system seems likely. Maybe even a coinfection

Israel reported all 12 cases they recorded have covid 3 months before. Perhaps it is an omicron specific effect.

In any event, it seems pretty rare given millions of kids have been infected, but at least Parents have been warned what to look for.

Yes, it is "rare" and hopefully stays that way but the instances are much higher, hence the concerns/investigations.

Id I read it correctly, there is no treatment but meds to ease the effects and returning to being 100% well.

It’s unlikely to be anything to do with vaccinations.

If you read the links I initially posted it is very clear that all those that had this virus did not have any covid vacs. Things may change if more children get this but judging by what has happened it has nothing to do with the vacs.

Btw, the hep jabs etc that babies/children get, is one of the hep vaccines not included? We are all for vaccines as they work to a good extent.
